Arthur Dahl (He/Him)

Hello! My name is Arthur Dahl. I was born and raised in Albuquerque, NM and attended UNM for my undergraduate degree. Then I attained my master’s in psychology clinical counseling from New Mexico Highlands University in Las Vegas, NM. I am also currently an instructor at Central New Mexico Community College. My experience ranges from in-patient mental health hospitals and rehab/detox centers to individual counseling. I have experience working with first responders and supporting them in their profession. Dealing with trauma and other challenging life events is something a specialize in and can help you work through. I have also cultivated a speciaty focusing on codependency and improving relationships. I believe the client is in charge of their life and I take a client-centered approach. My main modality is cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) but I am eclectic and use other modalities as well depending on the client’s needs. I hope to support you on your journey through life and I am excited to work together.
